The Trump administration has also cracked down on refugee admissions by instituting more burdensome screening requirements, lowering the United States’ annual refugee cap to 45,000, and proposing more limits on family reunification.
Meanwhile, Congress and the White House continue to stall on a solution for the 800,000 Dreamers who have lived in the United States since they were children after President Trump chose to discontinue DACA protections. Over 120 DACA recipients lose their status every day, and this number is expected to skyrocket after March 5th.
It’s up to you to help Congress uphold American values of pluralism and equal rights for all - and there are many ways you can take action!

Hi, my name is _______ and I'm a constituent of Senator/Representative ___________. I strongly oppose President Trump’s continued Muslim bans and restrictions on refugee resettlement. I urge you to do everything in your power to see that the administration will resettle at least the 45,000 refugees they have set as the cap for 2018. Will Senator/Representative ___________ stand up for American values and oppose policies that discriminate against people based on their religious and ethnic background?
Hi, my name is _______ and I'm a constituent of Senator/Representative ___________. I’m calling because I believe that the hundreds of thousands of DACA recipients should stop being used as political bargaining chips by President Trump and members of Congress. Will Senator/Representative ___________ support a bipartisan legislative solution that protects Dreamers?
