Poligon is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible and zakat eligible.
Since our launch in 2017, Poligon has:
- Trained over 12,000 Muslims and allies with our Congressional Advocacy trainings in mosques, community centers, and universities across the US and online.
- Joined our coalition partners to draft and pass the NO BAN Act in the House of Representatives to oppose the discriminatory Muslim, refugee, and Africa travel bans.
- Helped pass a Congressional resolution condemning hate crimes and other forms of racism and religious and ethnic discrimination, unanimously in the House of Representatives.
- Engaged Congress on legislation related to countering global Islamophobia, honoring the victims of post 9/11 hate crimes, and food insecurity.
- Registered Muslims to vote and planned local town halls on the importance of voter engagement.
- Conducted an ISPU study with fellow Muslim civic engagement organizations, which revealed Muslims were the least likely faith group to engage their Members of Congress, demonstrating the importance of Poligon's work.
- Issued hundreds of weekly newsletters and action alerts, keeping you informed on what is happening on Capitol Hill and key times to engage your representatives.
