Muslim Ban Letter to Congress with 118 Organizations
Poligon, along with 118 national, state, and local organizations sent a letter to Representative Elijah Cummings (D-MD) and Representative Jerry Nadler (D-NY) requesting a hearing on Proclamation 9645 also known as the Muslim Ban. Congress has done nothing for almost two years since the policy has been passed.
Delivering a Petition Against the Muslim Ban to Congress
Poligon joined Muslim advocates and allies on Capitol Hill to deliver a petition signed by 150,000 people, urging members to repeal the Muslim Ban that has ripped families apart. Poligon Founder and President Wardah Khalid had the opportunity to engage with fellow Muslim leaders at year end galas of Muslim Advocates, Islamic Relief USA Gala, ISNA, and Quaker allies at the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL).
