Happy Ramadan!
Poligon wishes you a Happy Ramadan! Through our trainings, research, and education, Poligon continues to amplify Muslim American voices in Congress. This month invest in Poligon so that we can represent our community!
No Ban Act
Poligon along with 384 orgs, formed a coalition to support the No Ban Act which was introduced by Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) and Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA-27). The bills, S.1123 and H.R.2214, introduced in the Senate and House respectively, aim to end the Muslim Ban and ensure that no future discriminatory policies like it can be enacted in the future. Muslim Hill Day
Poligon joined more than 500 delegates from 25 states to meet with elected officials and congressional staffers during the US Council of Muslim Organizations' (USCMO) fifth annual "National Muslim Advocacy Day." Our legislative fellow, Ruwa Romman, was able to meet with Rep. Rob Woodall (R-GA-7) to discuss a host of issues, like the No Ban Act.
Action Alerts
Poligon sent out an action Alert about Senator Chris Coons and Representative Judy Chu introducing the NO BAN Act, a historic civil rights bill that would end the Muslim Ban and prevent faith-based discrimination in immigration, in the Senate and the House respectively. Urge your member of Congress to support this bill!
Poligon also sent out a newsletter about how Congress adjourned Friday, April 12 for their April recess up until Sunday, April 28. Congressional recesses are a great opportunity to directly tell your congressmen about the issues that are most important to you! Even though the recess is now over, you should schedule your visits today or call them!

We'll share updates on our mission to amplify Muslim and ally voices in Congress and how you can get engaged as we approach another critical election year.
